Spring has sprung, and that means it’s time for local egg hunts in Cheyenne, Wyoming! With the weather getting warmer, somedays spring is in the air, families can enjoy the great outdoors while searching for colorful eggs filled with candy and toys.
Annual Easter Eggstravaganza – April 8th @10:00AM- Holiday Park
One of the most popular egg hunts in Cheyenne is the Annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Holiday Park, hosted by the Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department. This free event is open to children ages 8 and under and features thousands of eggs hidden throughout the park. The egg hunt is divided into age groups, so even the littlest ones can have a chance to find eggs without being trampled by the bigger kids. In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy games, crafts, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
Governor’s Mansion Egg Hunt April 8th @ 10:00AM- Wyoming Historic Governors’ Mansion
Another egg-citing event is the annual Egg Hunt at the Governors Mansion. This event is also free and open to the public and includes a hunt for eggs for your families smallest members. Kids ages 2-4 are welcome to participate. This egg hunt will start at 9:00 on April 8th.
Terry Bison Ranch Egg Hunt April 9th @ 12PM
If you’re looking for something a little different, consider attending the Easter Egg Hunt at Terry Bison Ranch Resort. In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy a scavenger hunt, hayrides, and even a train ride. This event does require a ticket, but it’s a great way to spend a fun-filled day with the whole family. Egg hunt is April 9th at 12PM! Kid will be separated into appropriate age groups.
No matter which egg hunt you choose, make sure to bring a basket or bag to collect all of your goodies. And don’t forget to arrive early, as these events tend to be very popular and can get crowded quickly. Happy hunting!
